We use the information that we collect from church members in the following ways:
  1. To communicate with members
  2. To provide a members-only online address list
  3. To organise volunteer rotas for services and other activities
  4. To record individual involvement in church groups and events
  5. To help us evaluate past events and plan future events
  6. To protect the health, safety, security, and wellbeing of everyone involved in church activities
  7. To manage our accounts, including fundraising and personal giving
  8. To meet all legal and Church of England requirements for data reporting
  9. To enable us to improve the way we serve our members and the wider community
We will respect your privacy. You will only receive communication from All Saints Little Shelford in relation to areas you have signed up for.

How we collect information

We collect information from users on our web site

There are a number of places on the web site where you can provide information about yourself. The minimum information we need to register you is your first and last name, and a password. We also ask for some further, voluntary information, and we will ask for consent to use your data in different ways.

We collect information from welcome cards and other documents

If you fill in a welcome card or a form relating to a church activity, we may store that information in the database. The information will be used only in relation to the specific activity for which it is collected: we will not use it for any other purpose unless you give us consent to do so.

We collect information through personal contact

We may store information that is given to us through personal contact or participation in an event. As always, we will only use this information for the purpose for which it was given unless you give explicit consent to use it in other ways.

How we secure your information

Your information will only be processed by those with the authority to do so, and for the purposes to which you have consented. You have control over who is able to access specific items of information on the web site according to the settings on your personal profile page.

You have the right, at any time, to remove consent for us to use your data, or to request that we delete your data from our database. We will retain your data until it is no longer useful for the purposes described above or until you explicitly request that it is deleted.

You can use the web site to update or remove your personal information, and to give or revoke consent to use your information. You may also contact us via email or post using the contact details below.
